We drive by a Sonic location several times each week. But it wasn’t until a few months ago that we discovered these half-priced Happy Hour Deals (an online friend gave us a tip).

You’ll want to see these amazing deals!

If you’re looking for some awesome drink deals and some tasty snacks check out Sonic’s Happy Hour Deals.

Be sure to check out our video at the bottom of the page. We visited Sonic and shared many of the other deals they have.

Stopping by is easy if you think about it. You can score a half-price deal:

  • on your way home from work
  • in the midst of an errand run
  • as you drive from one job site to another
  • when you pick up the kids from school

Slushes, Limeades, Teas, and Sodas and $1 corn dogs are on sale every day of the week.

Here are the details on Sonic’s Happy Hour deals!

Real Fruit Slush Deal

Sonic strawberry fruit slush in a glass with a red straw.

The new 2021 deal is 1/2 Price Slushes anytime. To get this deal you’ll need to order online or order through the app.

This has to be the deal of the century – at least for us.

We absolutely love Sonic’s Cherry Limeade. We love it so much that we’ve developed our own “copycat” Cherry Limeade recipe made with homegrown limes from our own Mexican Lime tree.

But during Sonics Happy Hour their 44-ounce (Route 44 sized) Limeade drinks are a real steal.

Sonic’s limeade drinks are normally priced at $2.59, but during happy hour you can have this huge drink for just $1.30. That’s less expensive than most convenience stores sell their standard 44-ounce soft drinks.

And for this price, we’re getting Sonic’s super delicious, proprietary Cherry Limeade – that we really love.

Of course 44 ounces of anything this sweet could spoil your appetite for dinner, but if you have kids, just pour this mammoth drink into smaller cups and you’ve got a treat for several of you to enjoy for just pennies.

Nutritional Information

Sonic’s website Nutritional info says that their Cherry Limeade– 44 ounce has 490 calories: 132 grams of sugar and no fiber.

This is a more moderate amount of sugar than their Real Fruit Slush drinks, but still could put you over the top with a sugar rush, so we recommend splitting between 2 or 3 people. Sip it slowly – the flavor is fantastic.

Soft Drinks

If you’re going to Sonic for their Happy Hour deals you may want to know that their soft drinks are included in the 50 percent off deal. But with so many unique drink options on their menu, we’re not sure why anyone would want to choose this option.

But if you normally pick up a 44-ounce soda during the day, this half-priced deal might save you a little bit of money.

Their drink selection is the standard fare from Coca-Cola distributors and includes:

  • Barq’s Root Beer
  • Coke
  • Coke Zero
  • Diet Coke
  • Diet Dr. Pepper
  • Dr. Pepper (our favorite)
  • Fanta Orange

Our Favorite Sonic Memory

Years ago we fell in love with Sonic when they ran a special summer deal. They announced that they were serving FREE root beer floats for one day only. We packed up all 5 kids and picked up Annette’s parents too.

We all really enjoyed the service at Sonic and especially their creamy root beer floats; they were out of this world!
