Don’t be discouraged if your regular store doesn’t offer a senior discount. You can still find deals on groceries at most stores. If you’d prefer to take advantage of a senior discount, then consider shopping at a different store.

If you would like a senior discount at your store, then consider calling the headquarters. In some cases, they may be willing to accommodate your request in order to keep you as a customer.

If you have other senior friends that would be interested in a discount at that store, then ask them to call as well. In addition to calling, you could send an email through their website or use the chat feature if that is available.

As you contact these stores, make sure to be polite throughout your interaction. Not only is it the right thing to do, but also you are more likely to receive your discount.

If you cannot get the store to offer a senior discount, then take advantage of their other money-saving options. Many grocery store chains offer loyalty programs that could be a great way to keep your grocery costs affordable.
